Design and create a work of art using pieces of fabric as your pallette.
Inspired by nature, art, the world around us, and ideas from the imagination, you’ll sketch your ideas on paper. We’ll introduce basics of color theory and you’ll have a chance to choose from an array of textures and colors of fabric.
Cut, assemble, and use machine and hand sewing to stitch and embellish your piece to make a colorful tapestry-like creation come to life. Realistic or abstract, your finished piece will be suitable for framing, or might be used to create a bag or pillow.
