The game Operation is turning 50 this year. It is time for a thorough examination and much more than cosmetic surgery.
Construct your own modern operating room and patient. Build an MRI (Magnetic Reading Instrument) to locate problems. Construct a surgical probe to remove and replace organs. Make a mistake? The patient's heart stopped flashing? No problem – remove and replace it. Repair joints arthroscopically. Recontour blemishes. Control arm and leg reflexes with a little brain surgery. This workshop may not get you into medical school but it will help you master basic circuits. Batteries included.
